We are looking for Portlanders who know our great city like the back of their hand!

Are you one of those Portlanders who always knows about the newest restaurant, bar or boutique?

Are you an expert in your field or craft? (bike building, gardening, brewing beer, knitting, etc.

Do you enjoy sharing a positive or negative experience after working with a local business or service provider?

Are you a community organizer who knows everyone within four blocks of your front door?

Are you a foodie who's tried every appetizer and pastry pdx chefs have to dish up?

Or are you simply a witty cynic or a master with words looking for a forum to express your opinions?

We are looking for active voices to enrich PortlandOregon.com!

How do you become a PDXPERT™?

We want to give credit where credit is due and recognize our most active PortlandOregon.com members.
In an effort to do so, here is what it takes to become a PDXPERT™.

Requirements:

  1. Sign up for membership on PortlandOregon.com.
  2. Review at least 50 Businesses or Places of Interest in a calendar year.
  3. Be the first to review five Businesses (5 firsts) in at least one year.
  4. Allow Public Display of your Real Name (we only display first name last initial. e.g. Jim A.)
  5. Ensure 50 of your reviews have no more than three "not so helpful" votes.
  6. Be sure your Profile Photo is of yourself.
  7. You must be at least 21 years old.

When you have met all of these requirements, simply email us with you profile name and "PDXPERT" in the
subject line, along with your t-shirt size. Our editors will review your submissions and profile statistics and
upon confirming you have met all the requirements we will grant you PDXPERT™ status for that calendar
year and send you your PDXPERT t-shirt!

What do you get as a PDXPERT?

You receive:

  • A PDXPERT badge noting you as a PDXPERT on your profile page and all reviews, comments and
    discussions you participate in.
  • A PDXPERT T-Shirt. (Coming Soon!)
  • Special Invitations to PortlandOregon.com events and PDXPERT parties/gatherings.
  • Focus group privileges and early notification of local promotions.
  • Our sincere gratitude for helping to build PortlandOregon.com!

We are also looking for Community Moderators and News Bloggers for each community
throughout Portland!
