I throw down the challenge because to me it is..  I love Vivace!  The victoian era home that welcomes 20 to 30 patrons into its cozy interior serves up some of the best coffee and pastries in town... and if you feel like more they have a kitchen which can whip up more invovled eats.   The outdoor patio is host to maybe 6 or 7 tables and the location is prime for people watching or just getting into a book, your facebook page (kidding) or just a good conversation with a friend.  I have not one single hang up with Vivace...

yes you heard it... I try to reserve it.. but this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Portland.  AWESOME location, Great ambiance... killer seating options, wi/fi, great service, solid coffee and a staple among numerous people I run with... I love this coffee shop winter, summer, spring and fall!  if you are kicking it 23rd style (trying to be funny)... this is the spot for you if you need a good cup of joe and a great quaint place to drink it!
