Call me OCD.. when I went here with friends.. the hipster/hippie crowd was so heavy it permeated the walls. I love free spirited, open minded people, but when they don't wear deodarant it make my meal less than optimal. The food itself is solid, the service was good (sans odor) and the atmosphere is what it is. If you are a VEGAN or Vegie this is your place. I like that they are good with the kiddos... because that is what I am about these days.

I'm not vegan, nor am I a vegetarian. I still love Vita, though. First off, they do serve meat if you want it. They have awesome sausage and bacon at breakfast, and the burgers in the evening are fantastic. The thing is, I'm not sure you do want it. Even for a meatetarian, the vegan food is really really good. I believe the mac and cheese is vegan, and I can't tell the difference. The corncakes on the breakfast menu are a go to item. They also have good scrambles and eggs. Finally, to polish off any meal, the cakes are very good - I'm addicted to the mint chocolate ganache.
One last thing, the vegan theme does not carry over to the beer. Mmmm, beer.
