The subject line isn't lying. This place is as good as Andina. As it should be, the owner used to be the chef at Andina. He is joined in the kitchen by a chef from South America, I believe Chile, so the food is authentic.
And it is good. I have eaten here numerous times trying different things, and I haven't been let down yet. The ceviche is outsanding, they also sometimes have an avocado/corn appetizer that is amazing. I'm hard on Portland service, but I find the knowledge of the staff here to be top notch. The servers are good at guiding you through a very tasty meal, and will offer up wine suggestions (not the most expensive wines, either).
I love Andina, but sometimes I don't want to deal with the Pearl, the big, loud rooms, and the parking. That's when I head to Del Inti.
Pros: Great service, ceviche, outdoor seating

Subject line says it. I love this place. Good beer, awesome patio, good food.
Pros: Beer, free juke box, darts, and pool. Nice patio
Cons: Service is a little slow (isn't that everywhere in Portland?)

It's hard not to be too hyperbolic or lather on the superlatives in a review. Having said that, this is the best ice cream in Portland. Homemade like it should be, with interesting flavors and fresh ingredients. I can't even latch onto a flavor because I always want to try new ones. They do rotate flavors in and out due to either ingredient changes or the makers' whims, but there's usually 30-40 in the shop, so you'll find something you like. One time, I had a red-pepper, peanut butter scoop that was awesome. Spicy ice cream, you'd have to try it to understand.
During the summer, the berry flavored ice creams are perfectly in season, chocolate is always good if you aren't feeling fruity, and the mixed flavors are great. As if I needed another excuse to head downtown on a sunny day.
For a quick dessert, they also do Happy Hour Pints. $4 for a pre-packed pint during Happy Hour. That's worth the stop on the way home.
Pros: Location. Ice Cream. Friendly
Cons: It's not calorie free

This is our exclusive place to board our dog. Whenever we go on vacation, it is a necessity that we take her here. They have play groups during the day, and are absolutely pampered at night. Private rooms, huge, soft beds, and home made dog treats. Sometimes on vacation, I wonder if the dog is getting the better deal.
The staff is awesome and rolls with any unforseen problems. They are willing to go above and beyond with scheduling quirks and changes.
Our dog is super excited when we pull into their parking lot, and dead tired when we pick her up. Is there really anything more you can ask for?
Pros: Great service. Friendly. Love love love dogs. More rooms for the holidays!

The patio and dessert are top notch, especially on a nice sunny day. I haven't been impressed with the other fare, and it's a little pricey for my tastes. Perry's does get my business for some cake and a drink on a warm summer night.
Pros: Dessert, Patio

CNN Travel just named Portland the best city for street food. Oh, and that's best city in the WORLD.

Does anyone know somewhere local to get an affordable chiminea? I know they aren't as cheap as a fire pit, but we'd much rather have a chiminea with our space. Thanks.

Trying to find the landlord's info. Sent him an email already. The neighbor who had his email (of which I have gotten zero response from in over a week) seems to think the landlord has moved to New York.

I think neighborhood meeting is the way to go. Will the police attend? I got 4 households (the neighbors I know and talk to), and we wrote a letter to the landlord. No response. I'm trying to get them to call the police, but they're old and stubborn.

Does anyone know of anything I can do to stop my partying neighbors? They're renting the house across the street, and about every 10 days or so they throw a huge party. 20-40 people, outside, drinking, yelling and screaming, and the best part is they don't stop until about 4 am. I've called the police for the last month and a half, and if they show up, it doesn't help.
I'm going crazy here. I'm a light sleeper and their house is right outside our bedroom window.
Oh, and please don't say, "Go join them." I've heard that, and it was funny the first party back in April. It's not funny anymore, especially with open window season here.
Thanks
